Tequila Tour

Cost: 350 pesos per person
We will leave at 8 am SHARP from the
La Floresta Sculpture in Ajijic
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes as we will be touring 3 different Tequila distilleries and also going into the field along with cutting an agave plant. Also eat a hearty breakfast, bring along a snack and drink if you wish. We will have lunch (cost to be paid by individual) after Tequila activities. Lunch will be followed by a trip to Magdalena to shop for opals. We hope to return to La Floresta Sculpture around 6 pm.

David Ruiz, a tequila expert from Guadalajara, will be joining us at the open meeting to answer any questions you may have about the trip. We will try to finalize details about the trip tomorrow, and take any suggestions you may have for future events.

LCS Social Hour at Mel's Diner
Starting at 5pm - this is a monthly event, on the third Wednesday every month.Come see your friends, have a drink or a snack or a meal –Francine's staying open late just for us.
Mel's Diner is in the hotel right on the Ajijic square, corner of Ocampo & Hidalgo.
Future dates will be Wednesday, MAY 15 and Wednesday, JUNE 19.

Picnic at the Malecon Park in Jocotepec April 12
We'll start at 11am, and end when everybody's had their fill of food, fun and games! The Singles Club will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs and some beer and soft drinks at a very reasonable price. Please bring a side dish, salad or dessert.
This is the most attractive malecon at Lakeside. It is also easy to get to. Drive or take the bus and get off at the Pemex as you enter Jocotepec and drive/walk down to the lake.

The St. Patrick’s day celebration March 17 at El Barco was enjoyed by all with great food, green beer and margaritas, and even some Irish music; as well as dancing to the Jam band!
